Junko Araki

Junko Araki is a dedicated Counselor, LCPC, LPC, and BC-DMT, deeply committed to guiding individuals of all ages, including preteens, teens, and adults, through their healing journeys. With a firm belief in the inherent potential of every client to heal and grow, she works tirelessly to empower them to recognize and trust their own strengths in overcoming life's challenges. In her therapeutic practice, Junko understands that clients may arrive feeling imbalanced by various difficult emotions, perceptions, and thoughts. She adopts a holistic perspective, viewing each person as a complex being rich in facets and strengths. Through her expertise in trauma and PTSD, relationship issues, and self-esteem enhancement, she facilitates clients' self-awareness, self-regulation, self-expression, and self-exploration, aiming to help them recreate a sense of wholeness. Junko employs a blend of mindfulness-based, body-oriented interventions, expressive arts, and creative experiential activities alongside verbal interventions. She believes that the therapeutic process is a collaborative venture, akin to a laboratory for experimentation, where both therapist and client explore innovative paths to healing.
