Judith Upshaw

Dr. Judith (Judy) Ann Upshaw is a highly skilled and compassionate licensed substance use therapist with a specialty in treating substance and behavioral abuse disorders, anxiety disorders, depression, and trauma. She offers individual, group, family, and couples therapy, drawing from over 30 years of experience in the field. Dr. Upshaw holds a M. Ed. in Psycho-educational Processes from Temple University and an Ed. D. in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University. Her person-centered approach ensures a supportive environment for personal exploration, meaningful questions, and collaborative problem-solving. As a licensed clinical alcohol and drug counselor, she is dedicated to providing integrated care, which enhances the therapeutic program. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Upshaw enjoys enriching activities such as walking, visiting museums, practicing Yoga, reading, traveling, and listening to music.
