Janice Fain Dean

Janice Fain Dean, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC), approaches her practice with kindness, unconditional acceptance, and deep listening at the forefront. Her time at Loyola University in Maryland has equipped her with a strong foundation to support adults facing a variety of challenges, including mood disorders, relationship issues, and spirituality. Janice connects with clients, helping them to understand their unique life circumstances and empowering them to uncover and utilize their strengths to foster calm, improve communication, and cultivate more love in their lives. Starting each session with deep listening, she guides her clients towards discovering their own inner resources for wellbeing. As a pastoral counselor, Janice provides a space for those wanting to explore the spiritual aspects of life alongside their mental health journey. With a diverse clientele, she works with individuals from all walks of life, including women, men, and LGBT individuals, and has a particular passion for partnering with musicians, artists, and writers in their creative processes.
