Food Pantry

Allen Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church's food pantry in Silver Spring, MD, is dedicated to providing food assistance to all community members in need, including low-income families, single parents, senior citizens, unemployed individuals, disabled veterans, and the working poor. Everyone is welcome, and no one is turned away from receiving emergency food. Our pantry operates on the second and fourth Saturday of each month from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., ensuring access to vital nutritional support. To utilize our services, residents must present a government-issued ID to confirm Maryland residency. We are here to help, fostering a compassionate environment where everyone feels supported and nourished.
