Linda Darrell

Dr. Linda Darrell, a dedicated therapist and clinical social worker, holds a PhD and is licensed as an LCSW-C. Her extensive knowledge encompasses a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, life transitions, grief and loss, chronic and terminal illnesses, and PTSD. Dr. Darrell's philosophy centers on the belief that meaningful change and healing emerge from nurturing healthy thought patterns and fostering self-empowerment. With her rich background and substantial training, she offers therapy infused with compassion and expertise, tailored to meet individual needs and promote success. Originating from Long Island, New York, Dr. Darrell also serves as an Associate Professor in the MSW program at Morgan State University's School of Social Work. Her impressive academic credentials include a PhD in Clinical Social Work from Smith College, a Master’s Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, and an undergraduate degree in Social Work from The State University of New York at Stony Brook. Additionally, she has completed a post-graduate fellowship at Smith College School of Social Work specializing in end-of-life care and is a licensed minister, embracing the integration of spirituality in counseling when appropriate.
