Early Head Start

Early Head Start is a vital, federally funded program located in Severna Park, MD, dedicated to supporting pregnant women and children from birth to age three. We focus on providing developmentally appropriate and individualized programming aimed at maximizing each child’s development while fostering positive parent-child relationships. Our comprehensive services include Center-Based options, where children experience early learning and care in a nurturing environment, along with at-home visits from our staff to enhance family engagement. Our Home-Based services involve weekly visits that empower parents to actively support their child’s growth, complemented by group gatherings twice a month for learning and social interaction. We also offer Family Child Care services in private settings, as well as Combination services that integrate both home and center-based approaches. Our program addresses essential areas such as nutrition, health and safety, mental health, and child development, with convenient transportation available to and from our center in southern Anne Arundel County.
