Early Head Start

Early Head Start in Severn, MD, is a dedicated federally funded program designed to support pregnant women and children from birth to age three through a range of individualized and developmentally appropriate services. Our mission is to enhance children's development while nurturing positive parent-child relationships. We offer several program options, including center-based services that provide enriching early learning experiences in a caring environment, as well as home-based services featuring weekly visits that empower parents to actively support their child's growth. Additionally, we host group activities twice a month, fostering community connection among families. Our family child care services deliver education and care in a nurturing, private home setting, while our combination services integrate both home and center experiences. With a focus on comprehensive family support, including assistance with nutrition, health, safety, and mental health, we are committed to meeting the diverse needs of families in southern Anne Arundel County. Transportation is also provided to ensure families can easily access our center.
