MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Rockville, MD, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity annually and to connect them with personalized weight management solutions that suit their lifestyles and preferences. We offer a variety of care options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! program, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician support as needed. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, our program provides access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who have not achieved their weight loss goals despite participating in MOVE!.
