Tavon Jackson

Tavon Jackson is a Baltimore native and experienced clinician specializing in social work and therapy. With a deep commitment to serving youth, marginalized communities, and individuals facing challenges such as recovery, depression, anxiety, relationship conflicts, and LGBTQ issues, Tavon demonstrates a profound understanding of diverse mental health needs. He holds degrees from Morgan State University and the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Tavon chose to embark on a journey as a mental health professional to provide the community with a familiar, compassionate face. Utilizing evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness techniques, he works diligently to create an affirming and safe space for clients. While his preference is to support Black males, his breadth of perspective and empathy equips him to competently assist clients from all demographics. As a Black male therapist, Tavon's unique insights and experiences offer valuable support as clients navigate their challenges.
