Nancy Michaelson

Nancy Michaelson is a dedicated and compassionate Drug & Alcohol Counselor, as well as a Certified Professional Counselor (CPC) with a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate their challenges. Having graduated from the JRW Institute in 1984, she brings decades of experience to her practice, focusing primarily on teens and adults. Nancy specializes in addressing addiction, codependency, and relationship issues, and she is adept at navigating a range of general issues including trauma and PTSD, sexual addiction, substance use, grief, spirituality, alcohol use, and drug abuse. Utilizing various modalities such as individual, family, and group therapy, Nancy employs a blend of coaching and psychodynamic techniques within a family systems framework. Her warm and empathetic approach allows clients to feel supported while they embark on their journey towards healing and recovery.
