Young Parent Support Center (YPSC)

The Young Parent Support Center (YPSC) in Perry Hall, MD, is dedicated to empowering families by offering vital support and resources that promote child development and foster economic independence. Our free services include transportation for residents of the greater Dundalk, Essex, and Middle River areas, developmental child care for children ages zero to four that enhances early literacy and school readiness, and adult education programs such as GED preparation with computer-assisted instruction. We also provide career exploration workshops, parenting classes like the 'Nurturing Program' and 'Parents as Teachers', and home-visiting services. Our offerings extend to recreational outings, life skills training, substance abuse prevention, and personalized case management to help families navigate their unique challenges. YPSC is committed to guiding families towards self-sufficiency while nurturing healthy relationships and decision-making skills.
