Grocery Assistance Program (GAP)

The Grocery Assistance Program (GAP) in Pasadena, MD, is dedicated to supporting individuals who are unable to shop for themselves. Through our volunteer-driven initiative, clients receive vital grocery shopping and delivery services at no additional charge, as they only pay for the groceries purchased by their assigned volunteer. Our caring volunteers not only shop but also deliver directly to the client’s door and can assist with putting groceries away if needed. This service is particularly designed for those receiving home-delivered meals and others aging in place who require dedicated grocery assistance. At GAP, our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to healthy food options while providing the companionship of our wonderful volunteers.
