Located in Parkville, MD, Financial Assistance Funds is dedicated to supporting children with special healthcare needs and their families by providing vital financial assistance. Our program addresses a range of expenses, including medical costs such as prescriptions and medical supplies, as well as non-medical needs like home and vehicle modifications, clothing, and daily living expenses including food and utilities. We also assist with healthcare utilization costs, helping families manage travel and lodging for medical appointments. Each family can receive grants of up to $500 per year, with requests handled in the order they are received to ensure timely support. We understand the urgency of these needs and are committed to reviewing requests quickly, generally within 15 business days. While we aim to provide assistance whenever possible, larger requests may require board approval. We are here to help families navigate the challenges associated with special healthcare needs, ensuring that financial barriers do not inhibit access to necessary care.
