Peter Riley

Peter Riley is a dedicated Clinical Social Worker and Therapist whose approach to therapy serves as a vessel for clients to achieve their personal goals. With a strong belief in the potential of every individual to create and implement meaningful change, Peter has extensive experience in various settings, including residential rehabilitation programs, outpatient mental health clinics, and social/emotional support groups for youth and young adults. He specializes in working with individuals and families facing challenges related to depression, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and behavioral issues. Peter earned his undergraduate degree from American University and his MSW from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, focusing on mental health. He works with a diverse range of clients, including preteens, teens, adults, and seniors, employing therapeutic modalities such as Person-Centered Therapy, Reality Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). An avid reader, Peter remains committed to staying informed about the latest developments and interventions in the mental health field, continuously enhancing his practice to better serve his clients.
