The Assistance Network in Odenton, MD, is dedicated to providing vital food assistance and support to families in crisis. Born from the collective compassion of local ministers in Severna Park, ACAN addresses the urgent need for emergency food and practical assistance in a respectful and timely manner. By offering non-perishable food items, grocery store gift cards, and vital resources for eviction prevention and utility turn-offs, ACAN ensures that those in need receive help without the burden of navigating complicated systems. Our Food & Pantry Ministry collects a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, and essential pantry items weekly from local grocery stores, distributing them not only to visitors but also to individuals who are disadvantaged or homebound. Through various programs, including holiday assistance initiatives and partnerships with social services, we strive to uplift our community and provide meaningful support to all who reach out for help.
