Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), also recognized as the Food Supplement Program (FSP) in Mount Airy, MD, is dedicated to empowering low-income households by providing essential food assistance. Our mission is to ensure that every eligible individual has access to the nutritious food they need for a healthier life. Through the provision of monthly benefits, SNAP allows families to purchase food items necessary to maintain balanced diets. Benefits are conveniently delivered via an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card, making it easy for participants to access and utilize their resources effectively.
