Grocery Plus

Grocery Plus is dedicated to supporting seniors in Montgomery Village, MD and surrounding areas by providing essential food assistance focused on nutritional health. Our program, which integrates the USDA Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) and the Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program, offers seniors aged 60 and over a monthly delivery of 30-40 lbs. of nutritious groceries tailored to meet their dietary needs. Participants are also invited to select fresh produce and pantry items, ensuring a balanced diet. Additionally, during the summer months, we enhance our offerings with farmers market vouchers that can be used at local markets for fresh fruits and vegetables, further promoting healthy eating. To engage with our program, seniors simply need to bring identification and proof of residency during their first visit to access these vital food resources, reinforcing our commitment to their well-being and independence.
