Americans Helping Americans

Located in Montgomery Village, MD, Americans Helping Americans is dedicated to uplifting families and children in Appalachia through vital support services. We understand the urgent needs within this community and provide emergency assistance, monthly and supplemental food provisions, and a well-stocked food pantry to ensure that no one goes hungry. Beyond food assistance, we equip families with essential school supplies and clothing, as well as hygiene items to promote health and dignity. Our commitment extends to home repair and youth enrichment projects, fostering resilience and hope within Appalachian families. By addressing immediate needs with care and compassion, we strive to make a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve.
