MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Lutherville Timonium, MD, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management solutions. Our mission is to promote healthier lifestyles by annually screening every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connecting them to the appropriate weight management services. We offer diverse treatment options tailored to meet the unique needs and preferences of our Veterans, including engaging group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program that enables in-home support and clinician communication. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available to assist in managing weight effectively. Additionally, our program provides access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans needing extra assistance after engaging with MOVE! services.
