Located in Lutherville Timonium, MD, the Assistance Center of Towson Churches is dedicated to providing emergency food assistance and crucial support to families and individuals across 19 zip codes in central Baltimore County. Our mission is to alleviate immediate hardship through services like bagged lunches, nonperishable food supplies for several days, and care bags for the homeless. We also offer vital help with eviction prevention, utility assistance, and prescription needs, alongside fresh produce, free ID and documentation replacement, and access to mail and toiletries for those experiencing homelessness. Transportation to job interviews and medical appointments is another part of our comprehensive support system. In response to COVID-19, we've adapted our services to focus on providing lunches and prepacked grocery bags biweekly, ensuring we can continue to assist our neighbors during these challenging times. We are actively working on safely reinstating our full range of services, reaffirming our commitment to supporting those in need in our community.
