Located in Lexington Park, MD, Southern Maryland for Independent Living is dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities by providing essential training that fosters independence and self-sufficiency. Our comprehensive program focuses on daily life skills, equipping participants with the tools to successfully navigate community resources, budget effectively, travel confidently, enhance cooking skills, self-advocate, manage households, and develop strong communication and social skills.
