Financial Assistance for Families Working in the Restaurant Industry

Located in Laurel, MD, CORE is dedicated to providing essential financial assistance to families in the restaurant industry facing financial hardship due to illness or medical emergencies. We understand the challenges that food and beverage service employees experience, especially when balancing work and family demands during tough times. CORE aids families by covering critical expenses such as rent or mortgage, utilities, medical bills, therapy, and travel related to hospital visits. Additionally, we assist with children's needs, including diapers, formula, and childcare costs. Our aim is to offer practical support to help families navigate through difficult circumstances, allowing them to focus on recovery and stability. Former grant recipients can reapply after a year for additional assistance, ensuring we are here for families as they adapt to ever-changing challenges. Once a family reaches the lifetime cap of $7,500 in assistance, we work closely with them to explore other avenues for support.
