The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) based in Lanham, MD, is dedicated to empowering food-insecure, limited-resource families and youth by providing essential nutrition education. Our mission is to equip participants with practical skills and strategies to prepare nutritious meals on a budget, make healthier food choices, and enhance their overall well-being. Through engaging workshops that encompass 10-12 lessons tailored to the needs of our diverse community, we foster a supportive environment for learning. Delivered in a culturally sensitive manner, our classes are available in both English and Spanish, ensuring accessibility for all.
