Located in Lanham, Maryland, Americans Helping Americans is dedicated to providing essential emergency assistance and compassionate support to families and children in Appalachia. Our mission focuses on delivering food assistance through our robust food pantry, ensuring that families receive monthly and supplemental nutrition, as well as hygiene items and clothing. We recognize the urgent needs of our community, offering school supplies to children to empower their learning and participation in youth enrichment projects. Additionally, we facilitate home repairs to create safe living environments. With a commitment to uplifting the Appalachian region, we work to ensure that every family has access to the resources they need for a brighter, healthier future.
