At the Community Food Pantry Program in La Plata, MD, we are dedicated to tackling hunger and fostering healthier communities by offering vital food assistance. Our mission is to provide families with nutritious food from all USDA recommended food groups, with a special emphasis on fresh produce. We strive to not only meet basic nutritional needs but also to educate our clients about health and nutrition, empowering them to make better dietary choices. Serving individuals and families from the Maryland, DC, and Virginia areas, we welcome clients to self-refer based on their need for emergency food support.
