Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), also referred to as the Food Supplement Program (FSP) in Maryland, is dedicated to helping low-income individuals and families in Kensington, MD secure the nutrition they need for a healthy life. By providing monthly benefits through an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card, SNAP/FSP empowers eligible households to purchase essential food items while promoting adequate nutritional levels. Our mission is to ensure that everyone in our community has access to the food assistance they need, fostering a healthier and more nourished Maryland.
