MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Jessup, MD, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to provide comprehensive support by annually screening all Veterans receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and referring them to various tailored weight management services. These include engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, the innovative TeleMOVE! program that allows for in-home messaging and clinician communication, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer a self-directed approach. We also offer additional options like weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight.
