Time to Fly

Time to Fly is a compassionate, faith-based organization in Jessup, MD, dedicated to empowering survivors of domestic violence through a comprehensive free 3 Step program. Designed specifically for women and children in the Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, and Maryland areas, our program focuses on rebuilding self-worth and identity. Participants engage in counseling, parenting education, nutrition education, daily life skills training, financial education, computer classes, and access to a supportive network. Our workshops cover vital topics such as understanding the roots of domestic violence, the effects of abuse, and recognizing God’s plan for a fulfilling life. Additionally, our After Care Program offers ongoing support, including life-skills workshops that address financial management, nutrition, and parenting, along with referrals for housing, childcare, and employment assistance. We offer childcare during sessions, and our programs are scheduled quarterly, with capacity for up to 50 women and 15 children per session.
