Food Pantry and Clothing Ministry

The Food Pantry and Clothing Ministry at First Baptist Church of Capitol Heights in Hyattsville, MD, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to families and individuals in need. We distribute emergency food every Tuesday and Thursday, ensuring that no one goes without basic nutritional support. Clients are welcomed based on the initial of their last names for a streamlined service: those with last names starting with A through M can visit on Tuesdays, while N through Z are served on Thursdays. In addition to our food outreach, our clothing ministry operates on the first and third Tuesday and the second and fourth Thursday of each month, offering vital clothing resources alongside our food pantry services. We are committed to uplifting our community by meeting immediate needs with care and compassion.
