Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP)

The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) located in Hyattsville, MD, is dedicated to empowering food insecure families and youth by providing essential nutrition education and practical skills for healthy living on a budget. Our program equips participants with strategies to make healthier food choices, enhance food security, and improve overall health through engaging workshops. With 10 to 12 lessons offered in a culturally sensitive manner, our classes are available in both English and Spanish, allowing us to reach diverse communities effectively. By focusing on accessible nutrition education, we strive to help families thrive despite limited resources.
