Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), also known as the Food Supplement Program (FSP) in Maryland, is dedicated to supporting low-income families in Huntingtown with essential food assistance. Our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to nutritious food, helping households maintain adequate health through adequately funded monthly benefits. Beneficiaries receive assistance via an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card, which functions like a debit or credit card, making it easier for families to purchase the food they need to thrive.
