Grocery Assistance Program (GAP)

The Grocery Assistance Program (GAP) in Hanover, MD, provides essential grocery assistance to individuals who may struggle to shop for themselves, particularly seniors and those aging in place. Through our dedicated volunteers, we offer a no-cost grocery shopping and delivery service. Clients only pay for the groceries purchased, with the added benefit of having a volunteer assist with shopping, delivery, and even putting groceries away if needed. This program is designed to ensure that those receiving home-delivered meals, as well as other community members in need, have access to the food they require with care and support.
