Grocery Assistance Program (GAP)

The Grocery Assistance Program (GAP) in Halethorpe, MD, is dedicated to supporting individuals who struggle with grocery shopping due to mobility issues or age-related challenges. Our compassionate volunteers offer personalized grocery shopping and delivery services, ensuring clients only pay for the groceries they need, while the service itself is provided at no additional cost. By helping those who receive home-delivered meals, as well as seniors aging in place, GAP makes it easier for clients to maintain their independence and access nutritious food without added stress. Our volunteers not only shop and deliver but also assist with organizing groceries at home, fostering a supportive and caring environment for those we serve.
