Young Parent Support Center (YPSC)

The Young Parent Support Center in Gwynn Oak, MD is dedicated to empowering families and fostering the healthy development of children. With a mission to promote self-sufficiency and economic independence, we offer a wide array of free services tailored to young parents and their children. Our supportive programs include transportation for residents of greater Dundalk, Essex, and Middle River, developmental child care aimed at enhancing early literacy and school readiness for children aged zero to four, and adult education programs, including GED preparation with computer-assisted instruction. Additionally, we provide job readiness workshops, parenting classes like the Nurturing Program, substance abuse prevention, and essential life skills training. Families can also benefit from our recreational outings, home-visiting services, and personalized case management to build a path towards a brighter future. We invite those in our community to engage with us and explore the resources available to help strengthen their family unit.
