Refugee Resettlement

Located in Greenbelt, MD, the International Rescue Committee (IRC) is dedicated to empowering refugees, asylees, victims of human trafficking, and survivors of torture to build new lives in America. We provide comprehensive resettlement services that cover critical needs, including furnished homes, assistance with rent, access to health care, and access to nutritious, affordable food. Our programs also feature English language classes, job readiness training, and education resources for children, all aimed at fostering financial literacy and community integration. With a warm welcome at the airport from IRC case workers and volunteers, we ensure that every refugee receives the support they need to transition comfortably and thrive in their new environment, helping them navigate legal pathways to residency and citizenship.
