Grocery Assistance Program (GAP)

The Grocery Assistance Program (GAP) in Greenbelt, MD, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals who are unable to shop for themselves. With the support of our compassionate volunteers, we offer a seamless grocery shopping and delivery service that allows clients to receive the nutrition they need without the burden of costs. Clients only pay for the groceries purchased by their assigned volunteer, while the service itself remains completely free of charge. Our volunteers not only shop for and deliver groceries but also help with unpacking and organizing items, ensuring that our clients feel supported in every step of the process. Available to those who receive home-delivered meals and others who are aging in place, GAP is committed to fostering independence and well-being in our community.
