Early Head Start

Early Head Start in Glen Burnie, MD, is a federally funded program dedicated to supporting pregnant women and children from birth to age three through tailored and effective programming. We focus on maximizing children's development and nurturing strong parent-child relationships. Our offerings include Center-Based services, where children enjoy early learning and enrichment in a supportive educational environment, along with home visits that occur at least twice a year. Our Home-Based services feature weekly visits from skilled professionals who provide guidance for parents to enhance their child's development, complemented by bi-monthly group engagement opportunities for learning and socialization. Additionally, our Family Child Care services provide nurturing care and education in a home-like setting, while our Combination services integrate both home and center-based support. We also assist families with essential needs such as nutrition, health, mental health, and child development, ensuring access to necessary resources, including transportation to our center in southern Anne Arundel County.
