Advancing Inspired Minds is a licensed professional counselor with extensive credentials, including a JD and PhD, who specializes in supporting individuals diagnosed with ADHD, anxiety, and mood disorders. They have a deep understanding of those who feel emotions intensely, both joy and sorrow, and recognize the difficulties that come with life transitions and everyday stressors. Often, their clients are exceptionally smart, skilled, and talented yet struggle with energy, focus, and executive functioning skills crucial to reaching their full potential. This sense of unrealized potential can lead to significant pain. Gifted and highly sensitive individuals frequently face challenges in manifesting their extraordinary gifts. Together, they work to explore these gifts and how to express and navigate their profound thoughts and feelings in the world. With over 22 years of university teaching experience, Advancing Inspired Minds has a particular affinity for working with college students and young adults who find the path to adulthood daunting and feel ill-prepared.
