At the Montgomery County Family Center in Germantown, MD, we are dedicated to supporting individuals and families facing challenging circumstances with a comprehensive suite of essential services. As part of Catholic Charities, we believe in addressing the underlying issues that lead to hardship by offering personalized case management, crisis intervention, and referral services. Our Choice Food Pantry ensures that families have access to emergency food assistance to nourish their loved ones in times of need. In addition, we provide clothing, shoes, and diapers, along with vital educational resources such as parent education and empowerment classes, financial education, and English as a Second Language courses. For those facing housing instability, we offer rent, mortgage, and utility assistance, as well as financial support for mothers battling cancer. Our commitment extends to computer classes, immigration legal services, and specialized support for pregnant women, all aimed at fostering resilience and self-sufficiency within our community.
