Atar Stav is a compassionate and skilled counselor, holding credentials as an LCPC and NCC. He specializes in aiding individuals and couples grappling with challenges such as marital and premarital issues, trauma, and intimate connections. Atar creates a warm and open therapeutic environment where clients feel safe to explore their feelings and experiences. With a strengths-based and holistic approach, he effectively helps individuals and couples increase intimacy, enhance understanding, navigate changing roles, set boundaries, resolve conflicts, heal trauma, and cultivate satisfying relationships. Utilizing his expertise in trauma-informed care, somatic therapy, cognitive approaches, and narrative therapy, Atar guides clients in understanding the stories of their lives and how these shape their perspectives on relationships. He is dedicated to helping individuals alter thoughts and behaviors that impede access to pleasure and satisfaction in their intimate connections. As an immigrant and strong ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, Atar’s work is culturally affirming and responsive, supporting each client's unique identity, cultural beliefs, and strengths. He is supportive of all queer identities and relationship structures while being kink affirming. Atar offers sessions in English, French, and Hebrew, catering to diverse populations.
