Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP)

The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) in Gaithersburg, MD, is dedicated to empowering limited-resource youth and families facing food insecurity by equipping them with essential nutrition education and practical skills. Our mission is to promote healthier eating choices and improve food security through engaging workshops where participants learn to prepare nutritious meals on a budget. Over 10-12 lessons, delivered in small groups or individually, we provide culturally sensitive instruction in both English and Spanish, helping families make informed decisions at home and in the grocery store.
