Melissa Reid, MS, LGPC, is a dedicated counselor who celebrates those taking the courageous first step on their journey to personal growth. With experience working in diverse settings with children, adolescents, and adults, Melissa specializes in areas such as anxiety, self-esteem, and relationship or family conflicts. She particularly enjoys assisting individuals who identify as Highly Sensitive Persons (HSP) in understanding their unique traits and enhancing self-awareness. Melissa aims to foster a safe and comfortable environment that empowers clients to gain insight by identifying negative thoughts, uncovering their strengths, and addressing family patterns and attachments. With an eclectic approach, she integrates various counseling theories—including client-centered, CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, and IFS—to tailor her techniques to meet each individual's specific needs.
