Aaron Heaton

Dr. Aaron Heaton is a dedicated and licensed psychologist who has recently relocated to the Frederick community with his daughters, aiming to practice in an environment focused on close-knit connections. He holds degrees in Psychology and Biblical Literature from Azusa Pacific University, along with advanced training from Marymount University and the American School of Professional Psychology, especially in applied behavioral analysis, making him well-equipped to work with children and adolescents. With over twenty years of experience, Dr. Heaton has developed a comprehensive understanding of various client needs, employing a collaborative and research-based approach to therapy. His areas of expertise include the assessment of disabilities, ADHD, learning differences, and developmental conditions. While he is well-versed in cognitive-behavioral and behavioral therapies, which are effective in addressing anxiety and mood disorders, he firmly believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is a pivotal catalyst for meaningful change. Dr. Heaton is proud to support adolescents, individuals, couples, and families, welcoming them through all stages of life with warmth and compassion.
