Financial Assistance Funds

In Frederick, MD, Financial Assistance Funds is dedicated to supporting children with special health care needs and their families by offering vital assistance for both medical and non-medical expenses. Our program provides financial aid for essential medical costs such as prescriptions, medical supplies, and durable medical equipment, as well as non-medical expenses like home and vehicle modifications, clothing, and daily living costs including food and utilities. We understand the challenges associated with healthcare utilization costs, and therefore, we also support families with travel to medical facilities and accommodation expenses. Each family can receive up to $500 per year, with additional requests reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We strive to process requests efficiently, typically within 15 business days, ensuring that support reaches those who need it most as quickly as possible.
