Women, Infants, & Children (WIC)

In Fort Washington, MD, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program, offered by Greater Baden, is dedicated to improving the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, as well as infants and children identified as nutritionally at risk. Our mission is to provide essential food assistance, including supplemental nutritious foods, alongside comprehensive nutrition education and counseling tailored to the unique needs of our clients. We also facilitate vital health care referrals and connections to other health, welfare, and social services. By prioritizing the well-being of families in our community, WIC strives to create a healthier future for mothers and their children.
