The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), also called the Food Supplement Program (FSP) in Maryland, is dedicated to supporting low-income individuals and families in Fort Washington by providing essential food assistance. Our mission is to empower households to access the nutrition they need for a healthy lifestyle. Eligible participants receive monthly benefits that can be used to purchase nutritious food, delivered conveniently through an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card, which operates like a debit or credit card. We strive to ensure that everyone has the resources necessary to maintain their health and wellbeing through accessible food options.
