MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Fort Washington, MD, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans by providing comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity and offered tailored treatment options that reflect their individual needs and preferences. Participants can benefit from various services, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and innovative tools like TeleMOVE! for in-home support, along with the MOVE! Coach mobile app for independent management. For those needing additional assistance, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery after exploring other options.
