School Health Readiness Program

The School Health Readiness Program in Forest Hill, MD, is dedicated to ensuring that children receive essential health care, mental health care, and preventive services, particularly for those who may not have easy access to such resources. Operating across four Title I elementary schools in Harford County—Edgewood Elementary, Hall’s Cross Roads Elementary, Magnolia Elementary, and William Paca/Old Post Road Elementary—this program ensures that no student is turned away due to an inability to pay. We accept Medical Assistance and private insurances (excluding HMOs), and fees for private pay clients are adjusted based on family income and size, making our services accessible to all. Our mission is to foster health and well-being among students, allowing them to thrive both academically and emotionally.
