Food Pantry

The Food Pantry, part of the Salvation Army of Central Maryland, is dedicated to providing emergency food assistance to individuals and families in Essex, MD. We offer a welcoming space where community members can access nonperishable food and essential toiletry items to help meet their basic nutritional needs. Our program is designed to support those facing challenges, allowing clients to either walk in or schedule appointments for assistance, provided they can verify the necessary documentation. Each individual or family is eligible to receive help once every 30 days, ensuring that our resources effectively address urgent needs while fostering dignity and respect in the process.
