Rod Wright, LCPC, believes that every individual is on their unique journey through life, and the path suited for one may not be the same for another. As a counselor, Rod’s role is not to dictate the journey but to assist clients in removing obstacles that can make future choices clearer and more fulfilling. Establishing a strong connection between counselor and client is foundational for effective counseling, and Rod makes a concerted effort to foster this connection right from their initial meeting. With extensive experience working with diverse clients, Rod specializes in assisting individuals aged 18 and above, while also supporting younger clients aged 13 and up, particularly within the LGBTQ+ community. His expertise encompasses a broad range of issues including addiction, trauma, relationship challenges, and self-esteem concerns. Rod is especially passionate about helping the LGBTQ+ community, drawing from his lived experiences to provide empathetic support.
